Turkey sliced with oyster mushrooms and basmati rice

Ingredients:

  • 500 g turkey breast, in strips
  • 200 g oyster mushrooms, cut into strips
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 chili pepper, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 150 g basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry
  • salt & Pepper

Preparation:

  1. Cook the basmati rice in lightly salted water according to the package instructions, drain, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the turkey strips until golden brown. Then remove from the pan.
  3. Finely chop the onion and sauté in a frying set. Cut the peppers into strips and add them to the pan together with the oyster mushrooms.
  4. Add the turkey meat again and stir in the turmeric and curry.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and let the dish simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
  6. Finally, fold in the rice, ginger and chili pepper and leave to stand for another 5 minutes.

 

Tip:
This aromatic mushroom dish tastes particularly good fresh and is ideal as a quick, balanced pan dish.
