Fried garlic mushrooms

ingredients:

  • 250 g oyster mushrooms
  • juice of a 1/2 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • salt & pepper

Preparation:

  1. Clean the oyster mushrooms, cut into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  3. Pour the mushrooms into the pan in portions, fry briefly, remove and set aside.
  4. Melt the butter in the pan, add the garlic and sauté gently.
  5. Pour in the remaining lemon juice, stir in the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Put all the mushrooms back in the pan, mix thoroughly, season and serve.

 

Tip: This quick mushroom dish tastes particularly aromatic if the oyster mushrooms have drained well beforehand. Serve as a side dish with rice, pasta or fresh baguette.
