Ingredients:
500 g turkey breast, sliced
1 bell pepper
1/2 onion
200 g oyster mushrooms
1 chili pepper, diced
1 tsp ginger
150 g basmati rice
1 tbsp oil (olive oil)
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp curry
Salt & pepper
Method:
Cook the basmati rice in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the turkey strips.
Remove the meat from the pan and set aside.
Sauté the onions in the pan. Then add the bell pepper and mushrooms.
Add the meat back into the pan.
Stir in the turmeric and curry.
Season with salt and pepper and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Finally, fold in the rice, ginger, and chili pepper, and let it sit for another 5 minutes.
